NOTES:

ref: #s for crankarms are for french pedal threads. for english pedal threads, one would simply add a "w" to the front of the ref: # - ie: ref:w1500 for a "criterium" crankset with english pedal threads

early versions of the "pro 5 vis" crankarm had the later version of the T.A. logo stamp immediately below the spindle taper hole, and fluted arms like the "criterium" crankset. later, the stamped logo is absent, and the fluting is replaced by a recessed decal.

early versions of both "pro 5 vis" and "pro 3 attaches" crankarms, as well as all "criterium" crankarms had backplates behind the pedal threads, with a hole for grease to exit via. this plate is commonly found popped out, as if one omitted the ref:137 pedal washers, the pedal axle would be too long to fit in the threads.

ref:137 pedal stop washers fit into the slightly recessed area around the pedal threads on T.A. cranks, protecting the aluminum from damage from the pedals tightening into them. they are sometimes found packaged with ref:31 dustcaps.

"pro 5 vis" and "pro 3 attaches" crankarms were available in either polished or satin anodized aluminum.
