Jack Taylor #7575

so here«s some info about # 7575. It«s equipped with JT racks (matching numbers), but strangely no JT stem. Both stem and seat post are very short reach, due to the original owner probably not being taller than 5«2". Wheels are Campag Record large flange, simple straight galv spokes, Weinmann "dimple" rims, Michelin 27 x 1 1/4 tyres. There«s a Pletscher kick stand braze on, the kick stand itself and a Soubitez Dynamo fixed to a rear seat stay. Brakes are MAFAC cantis, levers Shimano DA.

Guards are ESGE, lighting is typically British late seventies: Rear light without reflector, front Union standard. All not very upmarket, I«m afraid, neither are SR stem, bars and seat post, BTW. The original pedals were cheapish, too, but have since been lost. Now there are Nuovo Record ones. The pedals now sport NOS Chistophe leather covered toe clips. The rear mech is a Campag Rally, front and stem shifter are Suntour. Chainset is a TA Cyclotourist 3 rings, rear is a 6sp. block.
