Here is a one 1972 Jack Taylor Tourist frameset. Serial #6365. It is built of 531 Reynolds and features lugless construction. Size is 60cm ctc seat tube and 58cm ctc toptube. The frame has all the nifty braze ons for cantilever brakes, racks, fenders and whatnot that one needs for touring. There are even braze ons to run a lighting wire inside the frame. The rear rack pictured will be included as will the stronglight competition headset. Sorry, I don't have a front rack for this frame.
This frame was a "barn find" and is in what I would call excellent original unrestored condition. It appears to have been built at some point but I don't believe it was ridden much. Rust is truly minimal, almost non existent and the paint, although somewhat dull, is very good. Decals are complete and in good condition. There are some chips here and there, mostly around the dropouts and chainstays; and also two or three small spots that were touched up way back when. A buff and wax would do wonders for this frame.
