Jack Taylor #3094

from the ebay listing for this bike:

This is a most unusual tandem, the front is smaller than the rear! Built for a cyclist who had become blind, his wife rode on the front. Jack Taylor were synonymous with top quality English touring cycles during the 1950/60's. This 1950's example, frame No: 3094 has vertical rear drop-outs and most of its original finish in sound order. Note that the paintwork around some of the frame joints has fallen off, there is no frame fault in these areas. Examination leads one to believe that the joints weren't cleaned properly when new and they now need matching paint applying. The bottom tube is oval and there are braze-ons for Mafac Cantilever brakes.
